On the 28th September 2024 Trinity Snooker Club member Jon Hawkins set out on a 24 hour Snookerthon to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Armed with coffee, cake, a few friends and a lot of determination, Jon played a whopping 86 frames of snooker over 24 hours.
Jon set out on this challenge after a close friend of his was diagnosed with this horrible disease and felt compelled to do something to help, so he approached Trinity Snooker Club who set him up with free table light and a custom polo shirt for the event, so far he has raised over £4500 which is absolutely fantastic!
